This homemade barbecue sauce recipe honey is perfect for grilling season! With a blend of honey, ketchup, vinegar, and spices, this sauce brings a sweet and smoky flavor to any grilled dish.


Ingredients

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

In a saucepan, combine the ketchup and apple cider vinegar over medium heat. Stir until smooth.

Add the honey and brown sugar, mixing until both are dissolved and incorporated into the sauce.

Pour in the Worcestershire sauce, and add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring the sauce to a simmer, and cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to your liking.

Once done, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly before using.
