This Big Mac Salad Recipe is a healthier twist on the iconic Big Mac, packed with fresh ingredients and topped with a delicious homemade Big Mac sauce. Perfect for a low-carb meal or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced pickles
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tsp white vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat, then season with salt and pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
2. While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad ingredients. Chop the iceberg lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large bowl.
3. Dice the pickles, chop the onions, and shred the cheddar cheese.
4. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, relish, and vinegar to make the Big Mac sauce. Whisk until smooth.
5. To assemble the salad, layer the lettuce, beef, pickles, onions, and cheese in a large bowl. Drizzle the Big Mac sauce over the top and toss gently to combine.
